Officer John Stavlo reading at the library for Preschool Storytime

The staff at the Wilton Library wants to extend a special thanks to Officer John Stavlo for stopping in and reading to the kids for the last story time in July. Everyone seemed to enjoy the visit and change of pace.

I had asked Officer John to read while I was on vacation for two reasons. First is that it is a change of pace to have a guest reader in the library and if you would like to volunteer, we would love to have you come and pick some books to read to the kids. Second is that during a previous conversation with Officer John, one of his goals was to connect in a positive way with the children of Wilton. Reading fun books to them will certainly help the children associate our helpful police department with positive and happy memories, and a source of help if trouble should ever strike.
